**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: 1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF UK BASED AFGHANS AND OTHER ETHNICITIES AND THEIR DEPENDANTS SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST THEM TO ADAPT WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY. 2) TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES. IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS BUT NOT OTHERWISE, THE TRUSTEES SHALL HAVE POWER: TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE CHARITY IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.

**Activities:** 1. To advance the education and training of UK-based Afghans and other ethnicities and their dependants so as to advance them in life and assist them to adapt within a new community.2. To provide facilities for recreation and liesure-time occupation in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of those persons who have need of such facilities.
