Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Tonysguboriau PTA has had a successful year of
fundraising actvites. The PTA has run 13 diferent types of
fundraising actvites over the last school year including our
Christmas and summer fayre, eco balloon race, rafes,
disco’s, mother/ father’s day gifs and providing
refreshments at several school events such as the
Christmas concert, Eisteddfod breakfast and sports day.
We have utlised online booking and payment methods
and platorms this year such as Sum Up and this has been
well received by PTA members and parents/ carers. We
have trialled the use of online payments only for some
events such as our father day gifs, moving away from the
need for cash payments. This was successful and we aim to
contnue to promote online payments for events going
forward.
Our parent/ carer community have been very generous in
their support, as have the local community with their kind
donatons to support our events
Our actvites have mainly been focused on the children
atending Tonysguboriau Primary School however our
Christmas and Summer Fayres are open to the wider
community. Our summer fayre was not as well atended as
previous years as a result of having to change the date last
minute resultng in an afer-school event as opposed to a
weekend event.
