Our main activities have included: • A six-month project with funding from Warwick District Council to offer informal peer support to women through the Cost-of-Living crisis by craft activity and supportive conversation. • Attending two well publicised local public events to boost awareness of the charity. • Hosting Spring and Autumn moonwalks to support and engage with local women informally. • Attending Church services at the invitation of local civic dignitaries for charity awareness purposes. |

Para 1.20 | Main achievements have been: • Receiving a Highly Commended award for the team in October 2023 from Warwickshire CAVA. • Intentionally and successfully building a multicultural and multifaith team of women to reflect and support our diverse community. • Securing Charity Status. • Building a website offering support to women via 1:1 email and relevant signposting. • Three social media platforms offering inspiration, information and support to women. • Securing funding from Warwick District Council from their Cost- of-Living Fund to host women’s support sessions for six months in a local Community Centre. • Eight women regularly attended and set up a WhatsApp site to keep in touch after the project had ended. Feedback from the group was positive: • Increased confidence, • Feeling uplifted by the sessions, • Enjoyed the nurturing environment, • Enjoyed learning new skills. • The sense of friendship and belonging. • Helpful information was received towards ongoing studies. • Compassion given following a historical, unexpected and unexplained personal bereavement. • Sessions helped to alleviate personal challenges by |

Skilled in mindful conversation she generated positive engagement. • Based on the project learning outcomes, further sessions were planned for 2025 during which the ladies will be encouraged to become, self- supporting within the trusted relationship group. • The diverse friendship group will continue and one other is planned for 2025 to run on a similar line. |

Para 1.25 | Being a CIO, all members are also trustees but there is provision for Associate Members, those who do not yet wish to be trustees. Trustees are selected from existing Associate Members who now feel able to accept a trusteeship. Trustees also select from Warwickshire Community and Voluntary Action’s database and from Reach Volunteering. After a successful interview with two existing trustees, those with the necessary skills who apply to join the team using our website form, are also able to join the team. No other body or person is entitled to appoint trustees. Existing trustees may suggest candidates to be approved by the Board and if approved, can serve for up to three consecutive terms, one term being three years. They may stand for re-election after a period of oneyear as a non-board member. |
