Mental health charity dedicated to the construction world building connection before crisis, breaking the stigma around men's mental health and highlighting the appalling suicide rate that goes unspoken.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:the Charity Organisations Purpose Is To Preserve And Protect Physical And Mental Health For The Public Benefit Of All People Working Within The Construction Industry, Mainly Of Those On Site, By Holding Talks, Sessions, Advice, Helpful Resources And Guidance In Order To:-- Change The Stigma Around Mental Health For All Men And Women Who Work In The Construction Industry;- Raise Awareness Of The Suicide Rates To Encourage People To Talk To Each Other On Site And Change The 'Lads' Culture That IT Has Become; And- To Create A Safe Environment For People To Open Up About Their Mental Wellbeing And Encouraging People To Talk Regularly About Their Mental Health With Those At Work, Solving Issues Together.the Proposed CIO Is Not Only For The Construction Workers, But For The Partners, The Children And Everyone Around Them, As From Experience, IT Affects Them To. The Slogan By The Lads For The Lads In That Way Is Very Self-Explanatory.
