The charity exists to advance education and learning in the administration and practice of the law and related disciplines, to maintain and preserve the heritage of The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, to promote the sound administration of the law, and to promote diversity in the provision of advocacy and related legal services.
Objects: 1. The Advancement Of Education And Learning In The Administration And Practice Of The Law And Related Disciplines, Including By Providing Training, Providing Scholarships And Other Educational Awards, And Promoting, Undertaking And Publishing Research; 2. To Maintain, Improve, Repair, Upkeep And Preserve The Heritage Of The Honourable Society Of Middle Temple, Including Any Of Its Land, Buildings, Assets, Artefacts Or Other Property Which Are Valuable From A Heritage Perspective;3. To Promote The Sound Administration Of The Law, Including By:3.1 Promoting High Standards Of Advocacy To Support The Rule Of Law; And3.2 Identifying, Articulating And Promoting Professional Standards Of Conduct In Relation To The Provision Of Advocacy And Related Legal Services;4. To Promote Diversity In The Provision Of Advocacy And Related Legal Services;in Each Case, Anywhere In The World And For The Public Benefit.
