**Objects:** 3.1 THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN HISTORY AND TOPOGRAPHY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, INCLUDING (WITHOUT LIMITATION) BY:(A) COMPILING AND MAINTAINING AN ARCHIVE RELATING TO BARROW;(B) RESEARCHING AND INVESTIGATING SIGNIFICANT EVENTS AND PERIODS IN THE HISTORY OF BARROW, AND PUBLISHING REPORTS, ACCOUNTS, COMMENTARIES AND/OR RECORDS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE SAME; AND(C) HOLDING, OR SUPPORTING THE HOLDING OF, PUBLIC EXHIBITIONS, DISPLAYS, TALKS, PRESENTATIONS AND OTHER EVENTS ABOUT THE HISTORY AND TOPOGRAPHY OF BARROW.3.2 NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
