Para 1.20 | 1. On September 12, 2024, the OCI Foundation UK donated food and clothing materials to the homeless and other disadvantaged communities in Liverpool. This was part of the Foundation’s efforts to advance its Social and Public Welfare activities among underprivileged communities. The donation was made through the Croxteth & Gillmoss Community Federatio in Liverpool, which received the items for the disadvantaged groups as part of its own Croxteth Family Matters Project. On September 27, 2024, the OCI Foundation UK also featured at the “2024 Zenith Global Health Summit”. The theme of the event was to “use a one health approach in advancing popul health and tackling inequalities and access to healthcare”. At the event, the OCI Foundation U announced its intention to introduce the Literary and Research Award for Medical Students (L for medical schools across the UK. LARAMS is a program that is uniquely designed to identif inspire, and reward young doctors-in-training and promote literary dexterity and research skill among the next generation of doctors. As part of its commitment to expand its activities smoothly and sustainably across the UK, Foundation also invited and hosted one of its most experienced staff members to the UK (https://ocifoundation.org/ifeyinwa-erhabor-oci-foundations-health-and-logisitcs-officer-arrive team-uk-with-roll-out-of-foundations-activities-january-2025/). The staff member arrived in the UK in early January 2025 and held a series of sessions in Live afterwards https://ocifoundation.org/pics-oci-foundation-uk-hosts-ify-erhabor-and-husband-as- strategize-on-program-expansion-in-england-liverpool-21-01-2025/). The key plans were the b ways to implement the British version of LARAMS and the Arm Our Youth (ArOY) Anti-Cancer Health Campaign. They also worked on practicalities for the Foundation’s Postgr Scholarship Program and the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (also known as SGBV) for v communities within the UK. 4. On April 22, 2024, the OCI Foundation UK featured at the “2024 Africa Healthcare Award Summit by Zenith Global Health” in Accra, Ghana. At the event, the OCI Foundation UK deli a speech on its innovative CerviBreast Mobile Phone Application.
