## **Trustees’ Annual Report From October 2, 2023 through December 31, 2024**

## **Charity Name: Revive Europe**

## **Charity Registration Number: 1205011**

## **Charity Address: Flat 12 The Rookery Apartments, South View, Eaglescliffe, Stockton-on-Tees, TS16 0JA**

The purpose of the CIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith in the United Kingdom and overseas in particular, but without limitation, by preaching and the proclamation of the Christian Gospel in a manner compatible with the Statement of Faith, and encouraging the education, mentoring, training and teaching of the Christian faith.

Revive Europe, also known as Revive Europe (UK), is part of a larger network of Revive Europe legal entities around the world that work in harmony together to advance the Christian faith.

The main endeavour undertaken by the charity in the reporting period was participation in the planning and execution of a conference in Krakow, Poland between December 28, 2024 and January 1, 2025. The purpose of the conference was to inspire, equip and empower the current student generation of Europe in their respective contexts. Almost 2000 university aged students, many of whom were from the UK, attended the conference with representation from over 25 countries. At the conference the students learned about Christian revival, prayed for their countries and university campuses and left the conference with guidance on how to positively impact their social contexts with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The conference was considered a success with significant testimonies and commitments made by attendees.

Funds were raised towards the ministry costs of several Revive Europe staff in the performance of their responsibilities, as well as funds toward scholarships for students from Balkan nations who could not afford the standard entry fee of the conference. As some of the vendors did not require payment until after the completion of the conference, funds raised toward the conference did not get paid out from Revive Europe until the 2025 fiscal year. As a result, the charity ended 2024 with closing reserves of £20,790, of which £19,000 pounds was subsequently transferred to Revive Europe z.S. in Czech for the purpose of both paying vendors participating in the execution of the Revive Europe 2024 Conference in Krakow, Poland as well as used to help pay Mr. Philip Barry who was employed by them and had raised restricted funds through Revive Europe (UK). Subsequent to the transfer of the £19,000 to Revive Europe z.S. the charity maintained a reserve of £2,202.63 which was further bolstered by monthly donations to the charity. Currently there are no uncertainties regarding the ability of the charity to continue forward as a going concern.

As at the end of the period, the charity holds no other assets other than its closing bank reserves and hasn’t been in existence long enough for the trustees to have felt the need to develop a Reserves Policy.

The charity is constituted as a CIO and has a constitution as its governing document. The original trustees remained unchanged as at the date of signing of the accounts, namely • Jonathon Robert Burns,

- Lindsay Collins Olesberg,

- • Ian Hamilton Nicholson

At this point, the charity sees no pressing need to recruit additional trustees. Trustees would be appointed based on a strong track record of Christian ministry, relevant experience in a charity of similar ethos and who would be considered to be a good addition to the make up of the existing team.

The trustee below declares that they have approved the trustees’ report above.
