## **South Hill Parish Hall CIO Report 2023-24** 

South Hill Parish Hall CIO was successfully registered as a new charity with the Charity Commission for 

England and Wales on 2nd October 2023. Our charity number is 1205009. The CIO trustees met twice to make preparations for the transition of operations and assets from the existing charity (South Hill Village Hall, number 308270) with a target date of 1st May 2024. Formal application to the Charity Commission was made on the 8th January however owing to a backlog in casework a response has not 

yet been received and so the target date has overrun. Further actions in the transition plan remain on hold 

pending advice from the Charity Commission. 

The CIO had no active operations in 2023-2024 and no associated income
