Objectives and Activities
Summary – The Provision of a Community Village Hall. Letting out of facilities to a wide variety of groups and running of groups and events for the benefit of members and the wider community. Note that all residents of the two villages are members. The Trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission guidance and will continue to monitor all activities in line with that guidance.
Achievements and Performance
Summary – The Charity exists to provide a Village Hall for residents of the two villages and the wider community. The Charity continues to provide and maintain this facility and, through careful financial management, is in a good position for this to endure. The Hall is well used for a range of activities both Charity run and privately run. The Pop-inCentre and the Craft
Club/Warm Space meetings will continue to offer welcoming safe and cheap opportunities for our more mature users to socialise.
Financial Review
Summary – The Charity’s accounts were submitted and approved ar the AGM. A Reserve is held against possible future deficit in income/expenditure and for Capital replacement. The fund stands currently at £32,000
Structure, Governance and Management
Summary – The Charity is Charitable Incorporated Organisation with a Constitution. The first Trustees are named in the Constitution which provides for subsequent election at AGM following retirement by rotation.
