TRUSTEES” ANNUAL REPORT for the period 27[th] September 2023 to 31[st] March 2024 for BEMPTON AND BUCKTON COMMUNITY VILLAGE HALL (Charity Registration Number 1204951 ## Objectives and Activities Summary – The Provision of a Community Village Hall. Letting out of facilities to a wide variety of groups and running of groups and events for the benefit of members and the wider community. Note that all residents of the two villages are members. The Trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission guidance and will continue to monitor all activities in line with that guidance. ## Achievements and Performance Summary – The Charity exists to provide a Village Hall for residents of the two villages and the wider community. The Charity continues to provide and maintain this facility and, through careful financial management, is in a good position for this to endure. The Hall is well used for a range of activities both Charity run and privately run. The Pop-inCentre and the Craft Club/Warm Space meetings will continue to offer welcoming safe and cheap opportunities for our more mature users to socialise. ## Financial Review Summary – The Charity’s accounts were submitted and approved ar the AGM. A Reserve is held against possible future deficit in income/expenditure and for Capital replacement. The fund stands currently at £30,000 ## Structure, Governance and Management Summary – The Charity is Charitable Incorporated Organisation with a Constitution. The first Trustees are named in the Constitution which provides for subsequent election at AGM following retirement by rotation. The Registered Charity Number is 1204951 and the Charity’s principal address is High Street Bempton YO15 1HS Names of the Charity Trustees who manage the Charity are set out below Diane Vivienne Southall served from 27[th] September 2023 to 1[st] July 2024 all others remain in post as of 9[th] January 2025.
