**Objects:** FOR THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO ARE DEAF OR HARD OF HEARING AND WHO ARE RESIDENT IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND TO EDUCATE SUCH PERSONS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SAILING OR SAILING RELATED ACTIVITIES IN ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING WAYS: 1) THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF PARTICIPATION OF SAILING AND RELATED ACTIVITIES BY MEMBERS OF THE DEAF OR HEARD OF HEARING COMMUNITY AS MEANS OF RELIEVING OR OVERCOMING THEIR DISABILITIES.2) ORGANISING FRIENDLY TRAINING COURSES IN SAILING AND SEAMANSHIP FOR SUCH PERSONS USING ROYAL YACHTING ASSOCIATION QUALIFIED INSTRUCTORS, RUNNING DEAF-LED VOYAGES LEADING TO ENHANCED SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL SKILLS CONFIDENCE BUILDING AND SELF ESTEEM

**Activities:** Sailing - dinghy and yachting - opportunities, training and development for deaf sailors.  We are deaf-led and work in partnership with the RYA, Sailability and UKDS and some sailing clubs to grow deaf sailing.  Hearing sailors who are willing to work with and communicate with a deaf crew are welcome too.
