Thi5 Charlty is currently Dormant. The results for the year are as set out in the Receipts and
Payments Accounts on page 4. The Trustees consider that the State of affairs of the Charity Is
saY5factory.
It has been the second year of the tran51tlon to a new Clerk and wlth It a transltlon to a fiew form of
governance.
Work ha5 continued to progress the CIO and whilst muth of this was achieved in the year, some of
the outstanding elements suth a5 the registration of 24 historic properties, many without tltle
deeds 15 5ti11 underway. Until these are re8lStered with the Land Registry it is not P055ible to
transfer them to the CIO. The other outstandin8 element ha5 been consideration of how to
manage the Smaller charities, IPhilip Marner and Cirencester Non-Ecclesiasticall which we had
hoped to merge with St John's Hospital, but complication5 of a historic nature over bank accounts
and investment5 which were in part linked to another charity aBain proved difficult to resolve.
Once we had a formal basis for the CIO the Trust wa5 able to recruit new trustees, uslng the new
constitution which allowed for wider communlty representadon and recruitment based on
professional skllls rather than hlstoric Ilnks to the church.
