Activities supporting the purposes of the charity for the period include: • Guided walks • Work towards annual commemorations • Making of artifacts (notably an anti- starvation protest coffin) • Fundraising campaign launch preparation via Lancashire County Council/Spacehive Crowdfunder scheme; the launch and delivery of the Crowdfunder went beyond this financial period • Undertaking archival research in newspapers, home office records and local parish records. • Several talks to local history groups • Networking with local heritage organisations |

These primarily involve raising further awareness of the 1826 Lancashire rising and Chatterton Massacre through; WUBC social media campaigns; planning future WUBC commemorative events; WUBC workshops towards a forthcoming National Lottery Heritage Fund bid; and reaching out to the local community for new WUBC volunteers. |
