## **Overview of Activities** 

From March 2024 to January 2025, Al Haramain Mosque and Education Centre has remained steadfast in its mission to serve the community through religious, educational, and social support initiatives. Our focus has been on fostering spiritual growth, enhancing educational opportunities, and providing assistance to those in need. 

## **Key Activities Conducted:** 

1. Daily Community Gatherings and Prayers: 

- Hosted daily prayers for community members, creating a welcoming and spiritual environment. 

- Organised Jummah (Friday) prayers, attracting consistent attendance and providing a space for communal worship. 

2. Children’s Classes and Educational Support: 

- Provided regular educational classes for 35 children, offering a safe and supportive learning environment. 

- Supplied all necessary resources, such as books, stationery, and other teaching aids, completely free of charge. 

- Paid wages for qualified teachers (£991 per month), ensuring high-quality education. 



- Covered additional class expenses amounting to £100 monthly and other occasional needs (e.g., pens, extra books). 

3. Community Gatherings and Social Support: 

- Hosted monthly community gatherings to promote unity and mutual support. 

- Supported the community during Ramadan, organising prayers, distributing iftar meals, and providing food for the needy. 

- Assisted the homeless and vulnerable individuals by distributing food and essential supplies.

Income and Expenditure (March 2024 – January 2025): 

Total Income: £13,857 

Expenditure: 

- Teacher Wages: £991/month (£9,910 for 10 months) 

- Children’s Class Resources: £100/month (£1,000 for 10 months) 

- Miscellaneous Expenses (e.g., pens, books): £370 

Total Expenditure: £11,280 

Remaining Balance in Account: £577 

The charity has efficiently managed its financial resources to maximise its impact while maintaining operational sustainability. 

## **Impact and Community Outreach** 

Over the past financial period, Al Haramain Mosque and Education Centre has made a significant impact by: 

- Facilitating daily and Friday prayers, providing a spiritual space for hundreds of individuals. 

- Educating 35 children by offering free resources and employing qualified teachers. 



- Supporting the community through monthly gatherings that promote unity and social cohesion. 

- Distributing food and providing support to the homeless and those in need, particularly during Ramadan.
