Activities
Objects: The Objects Of The Charity Are Three-Fold:2.1 To Promote Education (Including Social And Physical Training) Of People In Greater Manchester And Surrounding Areas In Such Ways As The Charity Trustees Think Fit, Including By:(a) Awarding To Such Persons Scholarships, Maintenance Allowances Or Grants Tenable At Any University, College Or Institution Of Higher Or Further Education; And(b) Providing Such Persons With Opportunities To Learn And Develop In The Hospitality And Events Industry, And Connecting Them With Individuals In The Industry Who May Further Their Education And Opportunities To Enter Such A Profession And Career (C) Taking All Such Other Actions As The Trustees Shall In Their Discretion Think Fit In Furtherance Of Objects Exclusively Charitable Pursuant To English Law. 2.2 To Prevent Or Relieve Poverty In Greater Manchester And Surrounding Areas By:(a) Providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Education Or Training; (B) Providing Those In Need With The Opportunity To Pursue A Career In The Hospitality And Events Industry, Through Education Or Providing Employment Opportunities, To Enable Individuals To Generate A Sustainable Income And To Become Self-Sufficient; And(c) Providing Grants Or Financial Assistance To Enable Individuals To Pursue A Career In The Hospitality And Events Industry, Through Assisting Them With University Fees, Costs Of Travel, Maintenance And Other Such Financial Assistance As The Charity Trustees Shall See Fit(d) Taking All Such Other Actions As The Trustees Shall In Their Discretion Think Fit In Furtherance Of Objects Exclusively Charitable Pursuant To English Law. 2.3 To Promote Social Inclusion For The Public Benefit By:(a) Preventing People From Becoming Socially Excluded And Relieving The Needs Of Those People Who Are Socially Excluded, Or Risk Being Excluded From Society As A Result Of Factors Such As Unemployment, Financial Hardship, Discrimination, By Providing Them With The Opportunity To Pursue A Career In The Hospitality And Events Industry Through Offering Them Routes In To Education Or Work Experience (B) Taking All Such Other Actions As The Trustees Shall In Their Discretion Think Fit In Furtherance Of Objects Exclusively Charitable Pursuant To English Law.
