Objectives and activities

Objectives of the Charity

The Sivagiri Ashramam Charity Foundation’s objectives are broadly defined in terms of providing religious activities not confined to any religion. The main moto is ONE RELIGION and ONE GOD. While we set our objectives, and plan our activities, we have strictly adhered to the UK Charity Commission’s guidelines to ensure integrity, transparency, meritocracy, and accountability.

Achievements and performance

During the period, Sivagiri Ashramam initiated a process to build or buy a community centre for the activities of Sree Narayana philosophy. We have successfully found a place in Wolverhampton and got permission from one of the devotees use the premises for this activity. The aim is eventually buy the same after paying the market value to him, and make as the main centre of Sivagiri Ashramam in UK. Trustees’ meetings were held as required by the constitution

During the year the charity incurred a project cost of £10,521. This is the largest outflow and used for the major program conducted by Sivagiri Ashramam named “HARMONY 2025”. Also a capital expenditure of £2,250 was paid for security camera installation.

Financial review

During the year ending 31[st] March 2025, we have collected funds from the devotees to achieve a major goal to buy the Sivagiri Ashramam centre at UK.

Reserve policy

It is policy of the charity to maintain unrestricted funds at a level which equates to approximately twelve months unrestricted expenditure. This provides sufficient funds to cover management and administration and maintenance costs.
