## Annual Report 2025 FOR THE LOVE OF GOSPEL ## Introduction We are pleased to present our annual report for the financial year end 2025, reflecting on another year of commitment, progress, and community impact. We are grateful to our supporters, volunteers, trustees, funders, and partners whose contributions have helped us continue our work. ## Our Purpose Our charity was initially formed in November 2019 with a vision of creating unity and love through gospel music and we initially began with offering free online gospel sessions to an international community. We have continued this work to enable access to gospel music and learning and hope to continue inspiring people of all backgrounds to experience the joy of singing and participating in gospel. We now provide workshops and resources for choirs around the UK and beyond, encouraging and inspiring all things gospel. Our charity actively encourages people to participate in the arts by offering a wide range of opportunities and events centred around gospel music. We run and promote gospel themed workshops, concerts, and events around the UK, enabling people to access gospel music and learning. One of the projects our charity is currently working on involves the joining together of eight primary schools in North East Lincolnshire to learn and perform gospel music and inspirational songs. This initiative will culminate in a public concert at a large venue and event in the region, showcasing the talents and skills of young students. The charity runs workshops of varying durations – from hour long workshops to full day workshops and in some cases weekend long workshops. Workshops are held in hired churches, schools, and community centres. Our charity’s workshops are led by experienced facilitators, and they aim to be accessible, educational gospel sessions that allow participants to find different ways to express themselves, with that expression playing a part in that learning. Workshop delivery is flexible with the aim of encouraging continued participation while creating a sense of learning, unity, togetherness, and community through being together in song and musical education. The charity also provides experienced gospel facilitators to organisations, communities, and schools around the UK. They offer facilitators for training in gospel leading and leaders that attend external rganisations and facilitate accessible gospel singing, education sessions, and workshops as another way to enable people to participate in the arts. The charity hopes providing these facilitators and tutors will increase participation and experience in gospel and they hope to make them as accessible as possible to different communities, with a target to introduce gospel to as many as possible. The charity also enables people to participate in gospel by supporting gospel choir start-ups in terms of resources, funding, and recruitment. In addition to this, they also set up free gospel choirs specifically for young people aged 5 to 23 years-old who cannot afford choir memberships as they recognise the importance of accessibility. They therefore make sure that the process of joining is kept as simple as possible. The charity makes people aware of their work through advertising via:- • social media (via their own and groups relevant to their activities) - through word of mouth - websites (such as local community groups and foundations and via their own) - through posters, flyers, and leaflets Where appropriate, the charity may provide information in a different way, such as an additional language, or to make these accessible to people who have disabilities. The charity also aims to encourage participation through our public performances and concerts. We hope to foster a sense of unity, togetherness, and community through gospel and shared gospel experiences. Throughout the year, we have remained focused on delivering services and creating positive change for the people and communities we serve. ## Highlights of the Year During the past year, we have: - Delivered Gospel workshops and concerts featuring Hot Gospel Choir who are closely affiliated with our charity. We also worked closely with All For One Choir and their wonderful members. Throughout the year they worked tirelessly on both individual and collective projects and creative ways of fundraising. On 1[st] March 2025 the choir recorded a Charity single, which should be released later in the year. The single will be promoted to raise further funds for the charity. - Welcomed the support of our 8 wonderful volunteers who contributed their time and skills. - Worked alongside local partners to strengthen our impact. ## Our Impact We have continued to make a difference by providing access to and facilitating Gospel music through our workshops and concerts. Feedback from those we support has shown the importance of our work and the positive role we play in the community. ## Financial Overview We have managed our resources carefully to ensure that funds are used effectively and responsibly. Our income came from donations and fundraising activities and events, allowing us to continue providing vital support and developing our services. ## Thank You We would like to thank everyone who has supported our charity during the year.
