Para 1.20 | This year Mabel’s Meals has made regular distributions of pet food parcels and averages 154 per month (August 2026). We have also made regular distributions through Todmorden Food Bank, Halifax Community Fridge, Calder Food Support and Our Place. The charity aims to assist: - those struggling to feed their pets due to the cost-of-living crisis, homelessness or other emergencies such as fleeing from domestic violence (as identified and monitored by our charitable partners); - local animal rehoming charities by reducing the number of pets given up due to financial difficulties; and - society as a whole by improving the mental health of those we assist to feed and therefore keep their pets. |
