The charity is administered by a board of trustees, who are responsible for its strategic direction and oversight. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the provisions of the governing document and are responsible for ensuring the charity complies with applicable laws and its stated charitable objectives. ## **Objectives and Activities** ## **Charitable Objective:** The prevention or relief of poverty suffered by children and young people globally by providing food, clothing, educational supplies, and other essential goods to individuals and families in need and/or to charities or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty. ## **Public Benefit Statement:** The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty under section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. ## **Achievements and Performance** Although newly formed, the Azam Khan Foundation has made its first positive contribution toward its charitable mission. 2 **Key activity undertaken during the reporting period:** - In **December 2023** , a shipment of **donated clothing** was sent via cargo to **underprivileged children in Pakistan** . - This clothing was intended to alleviate hardship experienced by children lacking basic necessities. ## **Total expenditure incurred for this activity:** £200 This expenditure was covered by trustee contributions, and was used solely for the shipment of donated goods. While this initial activity was small in scale, it laid the groundwork for future projects and built essential logistical experience for the charity. ## **Financial Review** For the financial period from 18 September 2023 to 31 March 2024: - **Total income:** £0 - **Total expenditure:** £200 - **Net funds at period end:** £0 There were no incoming funds during the period, and all expenditure was covered by individual trustee donations or contributions in kind.
