identifying the difference the
charity's work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits lo society as a
whole.
The charity was able lo raise a reasonable
income from fundraising lo allow for
donations and grants to be made lo local
community groups and charities tolalling
£996, this is under-reflective of the donations
applicable lo the period as multiple payments
were made aftei the year end due to the
cycling event taking place mid-summer. just
before the financial period end dale.
Outside the scope of any financial impact, the
charity has also undertaken a role in assisting
the community which cannot so easily be
measured. In the year the charity carried out
various food bank collections. these resulted
in thousands of donated items with the dates
of the collections being in key times of year,
e.g. Christmas. The Trustees deem this to be
large and Su￿sSfUl part of the annual
operations of the charity-
well as the food bank collections, the
charity also continued a project in the local
area managing a previously unused piece of
land and turned it in a communty peace
garden (using only native plant species) for
people lo use as a quiet space to retreat lo
assist with mental health in the community as
well as remove an e
e sore in the area.

Financial Review
Review of the charity's
financial posilion at the end
of Ihe peTiod
Para 1.21
The charity was deemed to be in a good
finanaal position at the end of the financial
period wth £1,114 held as unrestricted fvnds
and £3,114 restricted. The unrestricted funds
were held as a buffer for emergency
donations required in the new finanaal
period and the restricted funds were held
due to a timing differen￿ where the
donations were to be made post the period
end, a reasonable figure was then held bad(
to allow for continued operations in the
followin
ear.
There are no speufic polioes held by the
trust in respect of holding reseNes. but il is
deemed by members that the trust should
hold onto a reasonable amount of reserves
so that any unforeseen local emergencies
can be assisted financially. This is at the
discretion of the trustees.
Reserves held al the end of the year to
3010612025 were £1,114 {unreslricted}, this
is a £7 increase upon the previous year.
Restricted funds lotalled £3,114 (YE 2023 =
