**Objects:** TO ADVANCE EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HUMBER REGION, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS AND OTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO HELP PEOPLE IN SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE TO ACCESS ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING; AND BY PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP SKILLS THAT SUPPORT EDUCATION AND EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT.

**Activities:** 1. Our charitable purpose is the advancement of education.  2. Barriers to education are many and varied by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship; all of which prevent people from accessing opportunities. The Trustees define disadvantage in line with the English Index of Multiple Deprivation (I.MD)
