Trustees Annual Report and Accounts of the House Of Hope Ministries International Foundation 16 August 2024 – 15 August 2025

The year started with a meeting of the Board of trustees to discuss the activities and performance of the foundation and the way forward for the ministry to realise her set objectives. In the same instance the Board of trustees took a decision to adopt more radical approach in her strategies for fund raising. The Foundation has House Of Hope Ministries International as her Working Name. The Ministry did not relent in her efforts in reaching out to people in our communities, with particular reference to people on the streets bi-weekly with the good news of the kingdom, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, in line with the vision of the ministry. During the year the Ministry reached out to 50 individuals out of 360 people on the street with diverse spiritual, material and physical problems who received counselling and prayers in response to their spiritual and physical needs.

The members of the Board of trustees met every other month and whenever the need arises to discuss the activities of the ministry and identify issues encountered, which enabled her to discuss and suggest the way forward that would enable the foundation to execute her projects. One of such issues is the problem of fundraising and the way forward to enable the foundation generate funds for the execution of her projects. To this effect, the Board of trustees of the House Of Hope Ministries International Foundation made “fundraising an affair of every member of the Ministry” Through individual donations the House of Hope Ministries International Foundation was able to receive donations.

However, fund generation efforts were made to enable the Foundation raise substantial funds that will help her to execute her projects. Also plans are underway to working in partnership with Homeless Link for Combined Homelessness and Information Network (CHAIN) which will go a long way to enable the Foundation to execute her temporary accommodation project for people on the street in our communities. This will go a long way to change positively the lives of people on the streets in our communities.

Achievement and Performance Over the year under review

Through our bi-weekly outreaches some people on the street with whom we shared the message of love, peace and hope, the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, gave their lives to Christ during the year under review.

The number of people that gave their lives to Christ during each outreach was not consistent; however, 50 people gave their lives to Christ which we followed up to ensure they were built up on a strong foundation in their Christian faith and character, this represents 10% additional growth achieved by the House Of Hope Ministries International Foundation in making impact in the spiritual lives of her beneficiaries.

Through individual donations the House of Hope Ministries International Foundation was able to generate £211. This enabled the Ministry to pay for some minor expenses during the financial year, with hope to attend higher grounds in fund generation for our projects.

Out of the £211 individual donations that came in the financial year, £198 was recorded as expenditures. This included overheads of minor expenses for running the foundation for instance Zoom Pro subscription, websites bills, including bank charges. During the financial year under review expenditure was reduced because donations received were lower than expected. In addition, the Foundation was able to apply and receive 50% of Zoom non-profit discount to enable her to organise her meetings using the Zoom Pro-option.

Moreover, the House Of Hope Ministries International has made selfless efforts in the execution of her programmes to offer services through her by-weekly prayer meetings based on Christian faith teachings, counselling and prayers to enhance the spiritual growth of the members which enabled them to have their spiritual and physical needs met. These by-weekly meetings played significant roles in bringing the members to the point of having closer relationship with God as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. This enabled them to be able to manage diverse difficult situations, have responses to their questions and have their needs met as they go through challenges in life, as well as being able to disciple other people.

In addition to our bi-weekly outreaches, the House Of Hope Ministries International organised a crusade on the street in which the gospel was preached and 200 packs of food and soft drinks were distributed to people on the street in line with the vision of the Ministry.
