Commission on public
benefit
P•rn 1.18
The trustees are aware of the guidance on
public benefit issued by the Charity
Commission, and all actiVit￿S benefit the
wellbeing of animals in need.
Achievements and Perfomiance
We have rehomed over 70 dogs in this
finanaal year, providing them with essents.al
vetennary care. induding neutering,
microthipping, and vaccinations, as well as
regular fieaing arKI womiing.
We have also supported many local families
wrth food and veterinary care to enable them
to keep tha'r teloved pets as part of the
family unit, rather than the animals end up in
resc￿. Sadly. due to the rise in the cost of
living we expect this trend to continue.
We have expanded our fundraising by
opening our own chanty shop, this has
provthd extra valuable income to cover
increasing costs, we have also started using
online auctions plarforms for some of the
items we have had donated to raise extra
fvnds.
We have started building a new kenn81
block, and a large secure dog field, this will
enable us to help more animals in need as
well as having a large space to use for 1 to 1
training for the inueasing number of dogs
that are exhitsting behavioural issues due to
the lack of socialisatK)n dunng the Covid
andemic.
