RESCUE ME DOGS UK (1204702)

Tony Banks 7 Church Street, Wooler Northumberland Ne716bz

ANNUAL REPORT

13.09.2023 - 31.01.2024

During the aforementioned period, Rescue Me Dogs UK sadly lost a valued Founding Member, Mr Graham Wood who passed away suddenly.

Also soon after this His wife Elaine Wood resigned from the Charity Board. Both these Members proved to be a big loss to the Charity having two key positions unexpectedly vacant.

Rescue Me Dogs at this time concentrated our activities within Italy reinforcing our Sanctuary Structures throughout our catchment area of Calabria.

Another change Within this period was the new legislation set out by Apha, regarding the transportation of Dogs from within the UK. This ceased from being an Advisory to Mandatory Requirement.

Rescue Me Dogs UK have introduced effective and Comprhensive Operating Systems and Protocols relating to the Transportation of Dogs to the UK.

During this period we put all fund raising activities on hold and concentrated on the Recruitment of New Board Members to fill the gap left by Graham and Elaine Wood.

Finally, in the intervening period until this current time January 2025, Rescue Me Dogs UK are now fully operational. We are carrying out all of our duties in accordance with our Charities Aims and Objectives and achieving a high degree of success.

We have recently qualified for Gift Aid and are incorporating this into our Fund Raising Activities.

We now look forward to a successful period throughout 2025 and beyond.
