Activities

We provide relief to families who have lost a child from birth up to the age of 18. We do this mainly by funding therapy sessions. we also provide keepsakes such as memory bears or jewellery and can offer food vouchers in some circumstances. further to this we can also be used to seek advice and guidance regarding regarding funeral planning and working through grief

Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is To Relieve The Needs Of Bereaved Families Including Parents, Grandparents And Siblings Across England And Wales Mainly Those Who Have Lost A Child / Sibling Between Birth And 18 Years Of Age In Particular But Not Exclusively By Providing Financial Relief In The Immediate Weeks Following Bereavement Through The Issuing Of Food / Shopping Vouchers, Providing Specialist Bereavement Counselling Services, Providing A Network Of Support Through Families Who Have All Been Through Similar Situations, Facilitating Regular Events To Enable Families To Spend Quality Time Together And Providing Or Facilitating Keepsakes For Families.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005] And [Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008].
