The provision of public pastoral care services to help people on the streets and in other public places. Enlightening others about Christianity through raising awareness and understanding.

The main aims for this year has been to see patrols on the streets 1, Number of volunteers available to patrol. 21 2. Number of patrols. Patrols started on the 4[th] of April and there have been 22 patrols. Most patrols had 4 people. 1 had 2 people 4 had 3 and 2 had 5. 3. Number of hours Total volunteer hours on patrol are 249 hours **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)**

Thurrock Street Pastors trustees adopted the policies provided by Ascension Trust after review and amendment in regard to new government guidelines on data protection and safeguarding. Changes were notified to Ascension Trust.

|**Summary of the main**<br>**achievements of the charity**<br>**during the year**|The founding supporting organisations were<br><br>Grays Baptist,<br><br>Grays Team Ministry,<br><br>Church of His Presence,<br><br>Christ City Church and<br><br>Wellcome Church.<br>This fulfilled the Ascension Trust requirement of at least four Christian<br>denominations: Baptist, Anglican, Congregationalist and two<br>Independent.<br>Highlights<br>“Hey Pastor come and talk to my mate he needs<br>Jesus”.<br>Praying peace for people and seeing their<br>demeanour changing.<br>People chasing after us to say how they feel<br>peaceful mow.<br>“People have noticed our presence and they’re<br>willing to speak to us”.<br>“Our presence  in the community  since we started<br>is highly noticed”.<br>People stopping us to ask what is a Street Pastor.<br>Two  Street pastors who had moved into the area<br>seeing us on patrol and wanting to join Thurrock<br>Street Pastors.<br>“I’ve really appreciated getting to know folk from<br>other churches while we’ve been out on patrol and<br>we’ve had some good conversations.”<br>People negotiating their shift pattern so they are<br>free on Friday evenings.<br>Linking up with the local police.<br>Linking up with homelessness workers .<br>Up skilling people on what was on offer in Grays<br>for the homeless.||
