Para 1.20 | participate in a number of prestigious Band contests through the year and has provided the community, local council and local venues, in addition to our self promoted events, with a number of concerts with different themes and styles. It continues to provide a valued musical outlet for the most advanced players locally. Brass@Bont Academy has grown to an organiation with 65 playing members ranging in age from 6 years upwards. It is organised with bands of differentiated levels to allow all to progress. The organisation is developing a contesting Youth band and the Community orientated group has welcomed our most advanced young and new adult players, alongside adults returning to banding to the point we are developing a new 4thsection band and this development will help to promote the continuation of brass banding as part of our local heritage into the future. |
