## **ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE**

During the financial year, the charity has continued to advance its charitable objectives by promoting the Islamic faith, providing facilities for religious worship, and supporting the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Muslim community in the local area.

The trustees are pleased to report the following key achievements during the year:

**Religious Services:** The Masjid continued to hold the five daily congregational prayers, Friday (Jumu’ah) prayers, Taraweeh during Ramadan, and both Eid prayers. Attendance remained strong throughout the year, demonstrating the ongoing importance of the Masjid as a centre for worship and community cohesion.

**Educational Activities:** Regular Qur’an classes and Islamic study sessions were delivered for both adults and children. Special programmes during Ramadan and other key periods provided further opportunities for learning and reflection.

**Community Support:** The charity has recruited volunteers to help support the masjid and grow the community.

**Youth and Engagement Initiatives:** The Masjid organised youth activities and community workshops designed to encourage positive engagement, moral development, and leadership among younger members of the community.

**Facilities and Maintenance:** Essential maintenance and improvement works were carried out to ensure that the Masjid remains a safe, clean, and accessible environment for worshippers and visitors.

The trustees are satisfied that the charity has met its key objectives during the year and continues to deliver tangible public benefit in line with its charitable purposes. The trustees have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit in determining that these activities are for the public good.

## **FINANCIAL REVIEW**

The charity has raised total funds to the amount of £1,961.83 in the period under review of which only £450 was spent as this is the first year of operation.

## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT**
