The trustees are responsible for the control, management, and administration of the charity in accordance with its governing document. Trustees are appointed in line with the constitution and meet as required to oversee the charity’s activities and finances.

Objects 

The object of the CIO is: 

The prevention or relief of poverty in Jalalpur, Sylhet in Bangladesh, by providing grants, items, and services to individuals in need. 

Activities 

During the year, the charity carried out its objectives by: 

Raising funds through donations

Providing financial assistance to individuals in need in Bangladesh 

The trustees confirm that they have had regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 

## 5. Achievements and Performance 

During the financial year, the charity: 

Received donations totalling £2,810 

Distributed £2,805 to individuals in Bangladesh to relieve poverty 

The trustees are satisfied that the charity has met its objectives and delivered public benefit during the year. 

## 6. Financial Review 

Income 

Total income for the year was £2,810, derived from donations . 

Expenditure 

Total expenditure was £2,805, applied to charitable grants overseas . 

Reserves 

The charity operates with minimal reserves, distributing funds as they are received. A small balance is retained for operational purposes. 

## 7. Plans for Future Periods 

The charity plans to continue its work in relieving poverty in Jalalpur, Sylhet, Bangladesh, by providing financial assistance and support to individuals in need. 

## 8. Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities 

The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees’ Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
