**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SKETTY, UPLANDS, SWANSEA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA ("THE AREA OF BENEFIT"), TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PRESERVATION, PROMOTION, SUPPORT AND IMPROVEMENT OF SINGLETON PARK, EXCLUDING THE BOTANICAL GARDEN COMPLEX, AND ITS AMENITIES.

**Activities:** Working under the guidance of the local authority FoSP enhances the benefits of accessing green spaces by getting people involved in  activities and volunteer days that it runs eg. gardening, ecological walks, litter picks, small scale events  There are also benefits via community engagement which can improve cohesion in the local community by bringing them together to enjoy activities together.
