**Activities:** The charity provides accommodation for the poor.  It caters for anyone over 50 who are resident in the Amber Valley local authority area.  The charity currently has two properties, the Matthew Smith Almshouses and Broadhurst House adjoining the Almshouses comprising 6 properties in total.
