Sandwell Lions Club has been in existence since 2009 and has recently
become a CIO. This is it's first submission as such. During the period
2410812023 to 3010612024. the club continued to serve its community,
through regular acts of service, that didn't require a financial contribution,
such as litter picks and deveLoping a communitygarden in the local area.
We held a Prostate Cancer Screening event in associated with the Graham
Fulford Trust, where we tested approximately 40 gentlemen, with 3
identified as being of a high-risk and further investigation was required.
A purchase of a cooker was provided to a family in crisis and we supported
many larger charities and organisations with donations.
Successful Santa Sleigh Runs were the main source of income duringthe
period. We were aLso delighted to receive a donation towards our work from
CPN Systems- a Local technology company.
