Activities
The Hope4Creation Foundation ("H4C") exists to enable faith communities to move from environmental intention to sustained action. We know the environmental crisis can feel overwhelming and detached from our own places and practices of worship. We help groups work together to find ways to integrate their values and beliefs into the collective life of their faith communities.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:1.to Promote The Practice And Understanding Of Ecologically-Informed Spirituality And Worship As They Apply In The Context Of Any Or All Religions (As Defined For The Purposes Of Charity Law);2.to Advance Education In The Fields Of The Environment, Ecology, Theology And Eco-Theology, Particularly (But Not Exclusively) By Educating Faith Communities About The Environment, Climate Change, Environmental Protection, And The Connections Between Faith, Nature, Creation And/or The Environment; And3.to Promote The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment, Especially With Regard To Climate Change, Global Warming And Sustainable Development (Meaning Development That Meets The Needs Of The Present Without Compromising The Ability Of Future Generations To Meet Their Own Needs), Particularly (But Not Exclusively) By Educating Faith Communities And By Supporting Environmental Action.
