Company Secretary Report on the year to 21[st] June 2024
It been a very big second year for Sheffield Home of Football with some great goals achieved

1) Blue Plaques appearing around the city 2) Educational walking tours organised around the city

3) Educational talks given across the city 4) A scheme to create a UNESCO World heritage status 5) Created a revenue stream through merchandise 6) Children’s book got into schools as well as bookstores 7) Planning permission for artwork around the city football wise

8) Development worker employed on self-employed basis getting a great reach in schools 9) All the schools football finals sponsored by shof 10) We are sponsoring Doc fest 11) White paper accepted as a research piece acknowledging that the tactical and passing game originated in Sheffield

12) Colin Ross accepted the position as trustee
All in all, a very successful year

The company had no employees during the period of these accounts
For the foreseeable future any employees will be on an agency/self-employed basis to minimise on the national insurance and tax liabilities.
No trustee’s received any wages for the said reporting period and only expenses were paid upon receipt of the said expenses.
The items sold via both Merchandise and the wholesale drinks license are solely for the use of the charity and therefore does not require tax paid on them.
Seeing this year, we generated below £25000 so we will not require an audit for this year
The company has public liability insurance for the year
At year end we hold £6500 in stock so we will require an audit for next year. This must be budgeted in the reserve for 2025

Forecast for 2025
Income at the present level should increase as the stock is paid for and book/merchandise will show a minimum increase of 300 % on year end trends.
Expenditure against none reserved projects will remain roughly the same so our projects must grow, or we must start completing some of the projects held within the restricted funds.
A separate account has been opened to hold restricted funds and after these yearend accounts are entered gift aid will be applied to on the donations. The donations we can get gift aid on is £6478 as the rest of the donations are given by companies and do not qualify as the can claim tax aid on the donation
