## Sheffield Home of Football ## **Year End Results and Report** **Company Secretary Report on the year to 21[st] June 2024** **It been a very big first year for Sheffield Home of Football with some great goals achieved** - **1) Blue Plaques appearing around the city** - **2) Educational walking tours organised around the city** - **3) Educational talks given across the city** - **4) A scheme to create a UNESCO World heritage status with us sending outreach into schools as film crews to allow the kids to tell why the city deserves it** - **5) Create a revenue stream through merchandise** - **6) Write a children’s book to get into schools as well as bookstores** - **7) Produce artwork around the city football wise** - **8) Speak at the world football heritage forum in Cardiff** - **9) Set up a museum in the Sheffield Town Hall** - **10) Form bonds with the clubs and the council** - **11) Became the only small charity with a wholesale drinks license** **We have got a £5000 grant for educational outreach which will be used to initially get into schools using a youth worker with the filming capability to set up our UNESCO bid. £1087 grant by town trust for blue plaques. Other external income was monies carried over from the old company and held by the Hallamshire fa and the manor and Castle accounting for £4000. A donation of £6000 was made towards our first artwork and other minor donations are held in the restricted funding against projects. Future grants are being applied for our educational objectives and various sponsors are coming on board gradually. Our social media is rapidly growing giving us a voice educational wise. No trustee’s received any wages for the said reporting period and only expenses were paid upon receipt of the said expenses. The items sold via both Merchandise and the wholesale drinks license are solely for the use of the charity and therefore does not require tax paid on them. Seeing this year, we generated below £25000 so we will not require an audit for this year The company has public liability insurance for the year At year end we hold £9500 in stock so we will require an audit for next year. Expenditure against none reserved projects will remain roughly the same so our projects must grow, or we must start completing some of the projects held within the restricted funds. A separate account has been opened to hold restricted funds and after these yearend accounts are entered gift aid will be applied to on the donations.
