The trustees present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2025.
Trustee's report and financial statements
The trustees who are also directors of the charity for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006, present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 30 June 2025. The trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).
Objectives and activities
The charity object is-
Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document
Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or services identified in the accounts.
The advancement and promotion of the Islamic religion, for the benefit of the general public, in all major cities in the United Kingdom and beyond, by raising awareness and understanding of Islamic beliefs and practices, by way of workshops and seminars and other means of communication and discussion as the trustees decide within charity law in England and Wales.
Tabah Foundation seeks to advance education and research in Islamic theology, philosophy, and ethics, including sciences and disciplines derived from or relevant to these subjects, and to disseminate the results of such research to the public.
The Directors are responsible for preparing the Directors Annual Report and the Financial Statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year. Under that law the Directors have elected to prepare the financial statements in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law).
Statement confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit
In preparing the financial statements, the directors are required to:
• Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently; • Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent; • Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation. The directors are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and which enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with Companies Act 2011 and the Statement of Recommended Practice, Accounting and Reporting by Charities (FRS102).
Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.
During the financial year, Tabah Foundation Ltd continued to pursue its charitable objectives through a range of educational, welfare, and community- fo cused activities . The Trustees are pleased to report that the charity has remained active in delivering support to the local community, as well as through wider outreach initiatives. These activities were undertaken to promote education, provide welfare assistance, and strengthen community engagement in line with the charity’s objectives.

Trustee's responsibilities statement
The trustees, who are also the directors of Charity For Tabah Foundations Ltd for the purpose of company law, are responsible for preparing the Trustees' Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
Company Law requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources, including the income and expenditure, of the charitable company for that year.
In preparing these financial statements, the trustees are required to:
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP;

make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent;
-
state whether applicable UK Accounting Standards have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements; and
-
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation.
The trustees are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Companies Act 2006. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2025
I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of Tabah Foundation Ltd (the charity ) for the year ended 30 June 2025.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the charity trustees of Tabah Fo undation Ltd, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act').
I report in respect of my examination of the charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act. In carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent Examiner's Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no matters have come to my attention in co nnection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts do not accord with those records; or
-
the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements co ncerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the acco unts give a 'true and fair view', which is a matter I am not required to consider as part of an independent examination; or
-
the accounts have not be en prepared in accordance with the methods and principles of the Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their acco unts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102).
I have no conce rns and have come across no other matters in co nnection with the examination to which atte ntion should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
Basis of Independent Examination
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review ofthe accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison ofthe acco unts presented with those records. It also includes consideration ofany unusual items or disclosures in the acco unts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the acco unts present a 'true and fair view' and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement be low.

For the year ended 30 June 2025 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its accounts for the year in question in accordance with section 476.
The trustees acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

1. Accounting Policies
The principal accounting policies adopted by the Charity, which is a public benefit entity, in the preparation of the accounts are as follows.
1.1 Basis of preparation
These accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention, as modified by the inclusion of charitable properties and fixed asset investments and investment properties at valuation.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with “Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102)” (effective 1 January 2019) - (Charities SORP (FRS 102)), the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) and the Charities Act 2011.
These accounts are presented in pounds sterling and rounded to the nearest pound.
1.2 Going concern
The Trustees have prepared financial projections, taking into consideration the current economic conditions and have, at the time of approving these accounts, a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Thus they continue to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in preparing the accounts.
