The JGM Trust was founded in memory of Joshua Gareth Moon, a gifted musician and sound engineer who tragically lost his battle with mental illness. Joshua’s legacy lives on through our commitment to supporting aspiring musicians and freelance technical professionals facing financial hardships and mental health issues.
Our vision is to empower emerging musicians by providing crucial financial support for instruments and educational opportunities. Additionally, we aim to alleviate the unique pressures faced by freelance technical personnel in the music industry, offering both psychological support and limited financial assistance.
The JGM Trust stands as a tribute to Joshua’s legacy, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those navigating the intricate path of a musical career. Join us in fostering talent, promoting well-being, and continuing Joshua’s compassionate spirit.
Starting a charity has its own challenges, and the last year has been no different. Personal, family and work commitments, some totally unexpected has unfortunately got in the way of where we wanted to be as a charity.
We hope to move forward with the message of the charity and reach more people by “getting the word out there” and building bridges with other organisations involved in the same field.
