Chairman’s Annual Report 2023/24 

Bembridge Fort Trust. 

Registered on the 11 August 2023. 

The charity was formed in order to negotiate the transfer of the management of Bembridge Fort from the National Trust to the Bembridge Fort Trust. Negotiations were still ongoing on the 31[st] March 2024. It is hoped that the grant of a 21-year lease will be finalised during 2024. There are five initial trustees at the start of the charity. Ashley Webb was invited to join the board of trustees; we are pleased that he accepted the invitation.  There is nothing else to report.
