1. The Charity has run in-person
workshops and nationwide educational
programme in schools and community
settings designed to build confidence,
curiosity, creativity, emotional wellbeing
and resilience in children and young
adults and help them express how they
feel through a love of art and making.
We have carried out 45 workshops in
schools and communities with 10
different artists (ranging from sculptors,
mark makers, hand, foot and mouth
artist etc. We partnered with the
Children’s Mental Health Charity
Beyond and the Michael Aldrich
Foundation to seek advice and
guidance on the content and reach of
our workshops, programme and
masterclasses. Beyond also offers
support and help to any young people
that we are in contact with in terms of
signposting mental health support.
2. Alongside this offered inspiring art
masterclasses online with a wide range
of artists to encourage young people to
try new mediums. This resulted in a
competition giving young people the
chance to try out their skills.
3. To get young people to explore
creativity and open up the conversation
surrounding mental health through an
art exhibition held at the Museum of the
Mind in Croydon. Competition winners
were given the chance to exhibit their
works alongside International artists
