March **2012** **TAR** 2 HERE North East CIO was established as a cultural hub and resource centre to promote equality and diversity for the public benefit. The existing archival materials are a fundamental core of this cultural hub and their continued care and accessibility are essential to our vision and strategy. Our collection is the first of its kind in the region and currently includes hard and digital archival materials and oral histories of several key local Global Majority organisations.
