**Objects:** THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: (A) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS OF THE CULTURAL CONTRIBUTIONS, HISTORICAL CONNECTIONS, AND NETWORK OF GLOBAL MAJORITY PEOPLE IN THE NORTH EAST OF ENGLAND; (B) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS; (C) CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY; (D) WORKING TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF RACE; AND (E) WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS.

**Activities:** HERE North East champions the cultural contributions, historical connections, and innovative networks  of communities of colour and faith within the region; it seeks to explore and develop strong links  between heritage, wellbeing and their representation through cultural expression. Our ambition is to develop a hybrid, mobile, and physical regional space that combines  the strategic priorities.
