**Objects:** 1) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO FURTHER THE CONSERVATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE HEDGEHOG SPECIES PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY IN THE GATESHEAD AREA; 2) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING AND DISTRESS OF HEDGEHOGS IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY PROVIDING A RESCUE AND OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND REHABILITATION OF SICK, INJURED, OR ORPHANED HEDGEHOGS WITH THE AIM OF RELEASING SUCH HEDGEHOGS BACK INTO THE WILD WHEREVER POSSIBLE; 3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE STUDY OF HEDGEHOGS AND IN THE CARE, METHODS OF TREATMENT, CONSERVATION AND HABITAT OF HEDGEHOGS.

**Activities:** In line with current professional guidance provided by The British Hedgehog Preservation Society and The Vale Wildlife and Rehabilitation Centre, who are considered to be at the forefront of hedgehog rehabilitation, the organisation provides care for sick, injured, and orphaned hedgehogs in the Gateshead area, this includes assessments, treatments, medications and vet bills.
