The charity’s objec<ves:
The promo;on of community par;cipa;on in healthy recrea;on, primarily but not exclusively, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Hounslow and the surrounding areas by the provision of teaching/development/compe;;ve swimming and associated ac;vi;es
Main ac<vi<es undertaken for the public benefit:
Delivered 4 fully funded community swimming/water safety/mul;-ac;vity programmes to support vulnerable, marginalised communi;es across genera;ons.
Delivered affordable learn to swim, water safety, development and performance programmes.
Increased volunteering and employment opportuni;es for local young people
Partnered with local organisa;ons to expand our community outreach
All ac;vi;es are aligned with our mission and provide public benefit, in accordance with the Charity Commission’s guidance.
Achievements and Performance
Key achievements during the year:
Provided 155 individuals with fully funded outreach programmes
Secured £81,037 in grants for community outreach programmes (£26000 of which follows on to the following accoun;ng year due to length of projects)
Increased youth volunteering leading to employment opportuni;es for 9 local young people.
Delivered affordable learn to swim, water safety, swim development and performance programmes for 210 local young people

Governing document:
London Borough of Hounslow is affiliated with Swim England, our sport’s Governing Body and is governed by a cons;tu;on adopted on 09 August 2023.
Trustee recruitment and appointment:
Trustees are recruited aligned with our Governing Body’s Swim England Safe Recruitment Policy and annually appointed by majority vote by exis;ng members. All trustees complete induc;on and training required by Swim England regula;ons.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/08/2024 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation of basis of report the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention (other than that disclosed below *) in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
