Programme Evaluation Report – 2024
From April 2024 onwards, ECADS delivered a focused programme of activities aimed at promoting wellbeing, employability, and social inclusion within the Eritrean refugee and asylum-seeker community. Activities were designed to respond to identified community needs and were delivered through workshops, sporting events, and family-focused initiatives. Participant feedback highlighted improved wellbeing, increased confidence, and stronger community connections.
Financial Overview – Trustees’ Statement
At the end of the 2024 reporting period, ECADS held a total balance of £2,629 in the charity’s bank account. This balance consists entirely of membership fee income. The Trustees confirm that no charitable funds were used to cover programme or administrative costs during the year. All activities were funded directly by individual participant contributions and were not retained as charity income.

Administrative and governance costs during 2024 were £0. Unrestricted funds carried forward at year-end total £2,629.
Trustees’ Compliance Statement
The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duties under the Charities Act 2011 and have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s public benefit guidance. Appropriate financial controls are in place and the Trustees are satisfied that ECADS remains compliant and financially stable.
