**the activities of Mrs Ann Dutton’s**
**Charity (charity registration number**
**247099). In extending the charity’s**
**objects, and becoming a CIO, the former**
**charity has been modernised with the**
**aim of better serving its community.**
**During the financial period April 24 to**
**March 25 transition to the CIO was**
**completed and steps taken to transfer**
**insurance, assets and land. The charity**
**has worked to fulfil its objectives in**
**advancing the Christian faith and**
**serving the local community in Great**
**Gransden and the surrounding area.**
**New trustees have been appointed, and**
**a change in Chair has taken place,**
**bringing renewed vision and leadership.**
**The trustees have met regularly**
**throughout the year to oversee**
**governance, strategic planning, and**
**operations.**
**The Christian café has remained a**
**central expression of the charity’s**| ||||| |---|---|---|---| |||**mission. With regular café sessions,**
**seasonal events such as the Christmas**
**service and craft fayres, and a wide**
**range of community-based activities**
**including quiet/prayer days, visiting**
**groups, Lego Church, painting**
**workshops, Alpha Course, and a Lent**
**Group, the café has grown as a hub of**
**connection and spiritual exploration.**
**The café regularly caters for over 40**
**people, supported by a committed team**
**of 12 volunteers.**
**These activities have made a meaningful**
**difference to the lives of local people.**
**The café and its events have helped**
**build and nurture a sense of belonging,**
**providing a safe and welcoming**
**environment for all generations. This**
**has contributed significantly to**
**countering loneliness, offering pastoral**
**care and companionship, and opening**
**opportunities for spiritual engagement**
**and Christian outreach.**
**The charity’s work has also had broader**
**social benefits. By promoting**
**intergenerational relationships,**
**encouraging creativity, and fostering**
**supportive networks, it has contributed**
**positively to community wellbeing. The**
**Christian ethos underpinning all activity**
**offers a consistent message of hope,**
**kindness, and service.**
**Safeguarding remains a key priority. We**
**continue to operate under the guidance**
**and support of Gamlingay Baptist**
**Church (GBC), with up-to-date policies,**
**training, and practices in place.**
**During this period the charity has**
**planned to improve the meeting house**
**by:**
**1. Having the electrical systems**
**checked and certified as safe, including**
**carrying out remedial work.**
**2. Having the macerator serviced**
**3. Starting work on replacing the**
**guttering and improving the drainage.**
**4. Starting to think about fundraising for**
**the remainder of the work.**
**5. Conducting a conditions survey**
**During this period the charity has**
