Trustee Annual Report
Birmingham Care Group CIO (Charity Number: 1204148) remained dormant throughout the financial year from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025. During this reporting period, the charity did not carry out any charitable activities, trading, or operational activity. No grants, contracts, donations, or other income were received, and no expenditure or operating costs were incurred.
The trustees confirm that this period of dormancy was a planned and strategic decision, taken as part of the wider development and progression of Birmingham Care Group. The trustees have reviewed the structure and future role of the CIO and intend for the charity to commence operations from April 2026, subject to appropriate governance, operational readiness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Statement of Trustees’ Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustee Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards, including the Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) (FRS 102).
The trustees are responsible for ensuring that proper accounting records are kept, safeguarding the assets of the charity, and taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. The trustees confirm that the charity was dormant for the reporting period and that the financial statements reflect this position.
