resources Includlng bulldlng constructlon toy4 klts and Iltsrature whlch Illustrate and trace the
development of model bullding systsms methods and craftsmanshlp a a record of soclal hlstory.

collector. By actively pursulng these avenues further a vastty wlder au￿lenCe will be within reach.

In Marth 2024 the worfd framoLts . Bayko" name and trddemark were transfeffed to the Archiv

,ThroU￿oUt the perlod some effort has been extended In the dlrectlon of mlnlature bulldlngs as
souvenlrs of herltage attractlons. One was soon slngied out for extra attentlon - Anne Hathaways
Cottage, recognlsed Instsntly throughout the land and beyond. It was In the - buslness- from the
1890s (and much earller prlvately) and so covers nearly all methods of productlon and
prtsentatlon slnce the Industry became serlously commerclallsed. It speaks near perfectly for thls
whole speciallsatlon, what the MBBA terms Interest 3 - Ornamentsl and Collectsble.
Varlous small donatlons of vlntage bulldlng toys have been recelved, almost entlrely as a result of
Life Before Lego. A standard donatlon form Is avallable althou￿ many do not wlsh to record the
matter. On two unrelated occaslons, two falrly Ilmlted non orfginal boxes of Bayko have produced
unique back- storles. They are both retalned as found and presented complete with some very
Interesting period re-packln&
All in all, the Archlve has grown In some really dlverse sectors. encouraged ￿thout a doubL by the
fvture security engendered by the registration. Further publlcations are envtsaged and much
thought is now being given to other moves forward, desplte some Interests actually stlll belng
slightly embryonlc.
Flnancial Statement
As of the above date the Archive has not been involved In any financlal trdnsactlons and no
account is in operatlon. Worklng expenses are mlnlmal, mainly of a domestlc nature, and borne
totslly by the trustees. An agreement dated 10th August 2023 absolvts the Archlve at this time
from overhéads. No fund ralsing actlvltles have been undertaken or are proposed.
