Trustees Report Objects of the charity The advancement of the Christian Faith in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees may from time to time think fit including through providing services for prayer and worship and pastoral care and oulreach into the community. 2. To promole the benefil of the inhabitants of Skewen. Neath and the surrounding area, in particular, but not exclusively, those who are economically or socially disadvantaged, children, the elderly and the disabled, by providing facilities in the interests of social welfare, for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for Ihe said inhabitants. Summary of the charity's main activities and achievements To further the above objects and vision, the charityls main activities and achievements were as follows= For the perTod ending 3110312025 we provided church services every Sunday moming and prayer meeting every Wednesday morning for people of the community lo attend. Every 3 months we provided food after the Sunday services for people to meet in the interest of social welfare. We hosted a Macmillan coffee morning in September 2024 and raised £570, supported Samaritans Purse Christmas shoebox appeal. We supported two charities who provide pastoral support to people involved in professional and amaleur sport. Christians in Sport and Sports Friends connected to SIM {Serving in Mission) During the period 0710212025 to 3110312024 we provided a 'Warm bank, in our church building, open 3 days a week for 6 hours a day giving people a wami place to go to have company. social interaction and for them save on their heating bills. This proved to be a success with 41 people using the facility during the period. From September 2024 we have opened the building for a charity called TOMORROW'S GENERATION charity number 1076814 to hold a school for 6 pupils every Tuesday. In planning the activities, the Iruslees have applied the guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity Commission. Reserves Policy The charity aims to hold a minimum of lamountl (which is approximately Inumber] months of expenditure) as unrestricted cash, so that the charity could continue to operate should income and l or expenditure vary adversely.
