## MORPETH BBH YOUTH PROJECT ## CHARITY REGISTRATION NUMBER : 1204044 ## Annual Report 2024/25 ## Charity Overview: The Morpeth BBH Youth Project is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation which is registered with the Charity Commission. The Hall is owned by the Parish of Morpeth and held in trust by the Diocese of Newcastle. ## The Charitable Objectives of the Charity are : To advance in life and help young people in Morpeth and the surrounding areas through (a) The provision of recreational and leisure time activities provided in the interest of social welfare,designed to improve their conditions of life; (b) Providing support and activities which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals; (c) Providing a youth centre whereby leisure time activities can be delivered. ## Trustees: The Trustees of Morpeth BB Hall Youth Project are : Prof. Andrew Cant (Chair) David Bawn Richard Stewart Bishopp Angela Dragone Elanor Margaret Hillier Sally Mary Caroline Keith Robin Smith Rev. 5,000| |||**5,446**| ## Activity During 2024 During 2024 the trustees, a dynamic group of people drawn from Morpeth Parish and the wider community, launched an Appeal - Raising the Roof. This is an appeal to raise funds to preserve the shell of the building and make sure it is weather tight so that current activities can continue. The funding will protect and repair a significant landmark building in Morpeth’s conservation area. The roof repairs are the first step in upgrading the building to house the wider vision to create a vibrant centre for the children and young people of Morpeth and the surrounding area.
